Introduction
One of the most popular though fairly hard treks, it requires 5-6 days and heads towards the ancient and picturesque site of Bharmaur, then to Chamba following the Ravi river downstream.

Itinerary
Day 1: Mcleodganj - Triund (2875m) 9km
A gradual climb NE along a good trail to the Triund, the first 2km, up to Galu Devi can be covered by jeep. An ideal camping ground at Triund overlooks the entire Kangra valley.
Day 2: Triund - Lahesh cave (3350m) 5km
Laka has got a good camping ground at the foot of the Inderhaar pass. 1 km ahead is Lahesh cave with room for 10-12 persons.
Day 3: Lahesh cave - Inderhaar pass(4390m) - Chhata (3700m) 8km
A strenuous scramble of 4 km to the top of the pass, depending on the amount and condition of the snow, may take 6-8h. A gradual descent ensues to Chhata camping ground.
Day 4: Chhata - Kuarsi (2730m) 7km
A rough trail with stream crossings and ups and downs, to finish for night shelter at a local temple.
Day 5: Kuarsi - Lamu Holi (1800m) 12km
Downwards to hilling village, then down again to Lamu, situated on the Holi-Chamba road. From here either go to Chamba by bus (51km) or carry on to Bharmaur (famous for temples and brass sculptures).
