Introduction
Trekking in Chadar is a bunch of unique experiences that includes walking on the Zanskar frozen river which is a sheet of ice with glacier water running underneath and camping and staying in cave. The journey of Chadar takes through the sites of ranging glaciers, breath taking snow capped mountains and charming Tibetan prayer flags. The Chadar frozen river trek is open only during winter when the ice sheet is mostly stable. Temperature is -10 to 0 degrees in the daytime and -25 degrees during the nights. Maximum height is 3750 meters.

Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrival in Leh (3500 meters).
Day 2:
Leh to Chilling to Tilat Do. (Drive to 3 to 4 hours, trek for 1 hour).
Day 3:
Trek to Tilat do to Shingra. (Trek in Chadar for 5 to 6 hours).
Day 4:
Trek from Shingra to Tilat Do. (Trekking from 6 to 7 hours and driving for 3 to 4 hours.) This is the final day of the snow trek in Chadar.
Day 5:
Depart from Leh.
