Introduction

Located at right 8 km SW of the Rohtang Pass, legend holds that Brighu Rishi meditated here, and that many local deity of the Kullu Valley visit to take a dip in its sacred water. Steeps ups and downs can make you a bit tired but they are equally rewarding because of its amazing views. A natural forest of Fir, Spruce, Moru and high altitude Kharsu Oak trees surrounding the area.

Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrival at Manali. Sight-seeing and shopping.

Day 2:

Drive from Manali to Gulaba and trek to Rohtak.

Day 3:

Trek to Brighu lake and camping at Panduropa.

Day 4:

Trek to Vashisht and drive back to Manali.
